The name’s Clyde, and I’m starting this blog to chronicle my soon-to-begin travels. I’m 33 years old as I write this, and I’ve hardly travelled anywhere. It’s about time that changes!
And soooo…
I’ve decided to embark on an epic year-long adventure across the continent, with nothing but my wits and my girlfriend to keep me safe.
The plan is to backpack from Singapore towards Europe, mainly by bus and train, and for someone who’s as poorly travelled as I am, this is a big deal.
Truth be told, I’m quite frightened by the prospect, which is quite normal considering I’m Singaporean!
I hope though that by sharing my preparation and experiences, I can encourage others like me to get out of their comfort zones and see the world in all its vastness.
